I Bake, Decorate, and Blog!

Welcome! My name is Candice, and this is Candid Confections.

People that know Candid Confections know me for my passion with baking and decorating desserts. But personally, I'm always asked questions about how I changed my eating habits, maintain my health, and stay sane with 3 kids, a husband, and an English bully (Bulldog). And it's not all I do. I'm forever a learner of all things related to DIY, organic living & wellness, interior design, salsa dancing — the list goes on.

That's where Candid Confections comes in. Now, it's also a collection of the other things I'm passionate about, in addition to baking and decorating desserts. I'd love to share some helpful, self-improvement tips, especially for families looking to be healthier and happier. I’ll also continue to showcase my baking and decorating journey, along with my favorite recipes.

Full disclosure, no, I'm not a nutritionist. But thanks to my super health conscious, master yogi mom, I've learned a thing or two and had successful experiences that work for me and my family (all while seeking advice from trained professionals). 

Also, in case you're wondering about the rebrand from Dulce by Candi to Candid Confections, I needed to revamp to a fresh new look to fit my new changes. The new name is intentional too: CAN (me) + DID (the action of doing) gives an identity perfectly fitting my personality of doing what I want, when I want, how I want, candidly. Confections, the action of mixing two or more separate elements together, gives me more freedom of what I can offer.

I'm SO excited to share this adventure with you, and I hope you'll join me for some candid talk.
